Bella Poarch
Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. She was born the 9th of February, 1997. Bella Poarch's grandmother lived among the Manila slums until she reached the age of three. The family she adopted is up of an Filipino adoptive mom and a white American soldier. She says that her and her brother, who was adopted when an infant, suffered abuse before they joined the military. To move to Texas after she reached 13, her family spent several months staying in San Francisco to stay with her Aunt. The physical abuse ceased however, her father continued to emotionally abuse her in the her home. Poarch joined the United States Navy when she was 18 years old. Poarch started her TikTok Account in April 202020 and rose quickly to fame, amassing more than 40,000,000 fans in under eight months. Her videos were uploaded in a variety of formats, however her most popular hit was a video for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. A zoomed-in clip of her rhythmically lip-syncing the song and leaping in time to it became a viral clip that was the top TikTok video. When she first joined TikTok and gained fame Poarch launched a YouTube channel and Twitter account. Her fame grew exponentially in December 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two major professional Esports teams. 100 Thieves as well as FaZe Clan expressed interest in having her hired as a creator of content under their respective brands.
