Jill Hennessy

This resident of Edmonton, Alberta has a mix of ancestry from Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline's twin is an actress and actress as well. When she was growing up, Jill became fluent in a number of languages including Italian, French and Spanish. After she turned twelve years of age, Jill started to get interested in acting. At the age of 12, in Toronto the city she was born, she began her acting career in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort alongside their twin sisters. When she began studying improv with Deb Kimmet in Second City, she began her acting career in Toronto. Two years later, she moved in New York and signed a deal for the role of an Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long playing hit TV series Law & Order. The actress also appeared in films including RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) in her three-year tenure. In the following years, she landed gigs in many forgettable film However, in 1999, she landed a starring role on the television miniseries uremberg opposite Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed and so did Exit Wounds. In 2001, she landed leading roles in the crime-themed NBC series Crossing Jordan and in 2007 she took home a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Actress in the Drama Series" due to her role on the show.
